My review :

This book is a love story which begins with hate. Megan has run away from her home town because of a boy and now she lives in London. She came back to her home town for her brother's weding. Aiden is the best man of Owen, Megan's brother. He is handsome, smart, annoying and confident. I liked the interaction between Megan and Aiden. They are so fun and in the same time so irritating, and maybe that's why I like this book. We see their relation building, deepening, destroying to finish by a beautiful ending. Diana Nixon is a great author, She has the power to let in us to her world and she describes very well the characters and their feelings. This book reminded me Tempting the best man by J. Lynn (aka Jennifer L Armentrout) but in Hate at first sight we experience more contradictory feelings.

Mon avis :

C’est avec un énorme plaisir que j’ai retrouvé Ethan et Merit.
A la fin du tome 8 Ethan se préparait à avoir des soucis avec la Maire, il fallait donc qu’il trouve refuge quelque part. Et quoi de mieux qu’un endroit rempli de métamorphes.
Bien entendu, il emmène Merit avec lui et les problèmes aussi. Nous retrouvons beaucoup de personnages qui nous ont plus ou moins manqués et on en découvre aussi 2 petits nouveaux pour lesquels j’aimerais bien que Chloé Neill sorte une petite nouvelle du même genre que celle de Jeff avec Fallon et Luc avec Lindsey.
L’écriture de Chloé est toujours aussi fluide, il n’y a pas un moment où l’on se repose et pour une fois il n’y a pas de conflit entre Merit et Ethan. On sent bien que leur relation évolue.
Et cette fin, je veux absolument lire Blood Games parce que ce tome risque d’être très intéressant.
Je trouve vraiment que l’ambiance de ces livres est magique, les personnages ne sont pas niais, ils ont des réactions tout à fait normales et c’est pour ça qu’on les aime.
Et puis qui n’apprécierait Ethan et son caractère.
Plus on avance dans la série et plus les relations entre les différents personnages évoluent. Les amitiés se lient et se délient.

En Bref :

Une série que je conseille à tous ceux qui ne l’ont pas encore commencée et un tome à lire absolument pour ceux qui la suive déjà.
